Over a decade of experience in film and television has allowed me to hone my skills as both a storyteller and a creative problem solver. I have extensive experience combining creativity with the technical aspects of media creation to tell stories that appeal to the audience while being authentic and on-brand.
In my previous roles in documentary film and television, as well as my most recent position as Creativity and Production Director, I have led teams through all stages of production. I excel at maintaining high morale as deadlines approach and multiple projects are being juggled.
My happy place is on set for an interview – the way the lights, video, and audio all come together to capture a person’s story in their own words. I love asking questions and gaining insight into someone else’s world. Then, in the edit room I am privileged to put pieces together to paint a picture to show that world to others.
I am constantly pushing myself to stay up to date with technologies and trends involved in the production world. I have thoroughly enjoyed not only working in the field, but also being allowed the freedom to volunteer in the community I live in and help younger generations learn from behind the scenes.
Above all, I am truly passionate about telling stories that often go unnoticed or are overlooked. I strive to create inclusive, mission-driven pieces that contribute to the betterment of the world.
